Muzzle brake GE-OCTO

The GE-Octo muzzle brake/compensator was designed specifically to work with the Softshock S-9 buffer, but it also proved to be excellent on AR9 carbines.

The main difference between the GE-Octo DTK is its low weight, only 50 grams. Adjusting the DTK to the characteristics of a particular shooter is carried out by turning around the axis of the barrel. The most versatile DTK position would be a 45 degree lean towards the strong shoulder.

The expansion joint is available in two thread sizes:

✅ M16x1 (Saiga 9 and its clones) and Russian-made AR9 carbines.

✅ 1 \ 2-28 UNEF for the AR9 carbine manufactured by ADC.

The design of the compensator, its dimensions and parameters of the chambers are optimized using computer simulation of the shot. As a result, the design turned out to be close to optimal, and the weight of the compensator is only 50 grams. And the shooting timer “catches” it perfectly.

For reference: A muzzle brake-compensator (DTK) is a special device designed to reduce recoil and compensate for the withdrawal and toss of the barrel of a firearm, using the kinetic energy of powder gases that exit the barrel after a fired bullet or projectile.

DTK is made of D16T duralumin alloy, which provides high strength and “survivability”, despite the low weight. And we can also do laser engraving on it according to an individual project.
